I don't know that I think the grass is greener on the other side.
But I do want to get the most out of life. And, for someone who
has no special skills, not too much money, and not a great deal
of education, I possibly have not done too badly. So far..
Not finished yet, if I can help it. Life should be an adventure,
and that is the way I shall continue to live it.
But I do admire "ex-pats" in particular. People who will go and
spend their lives in a foreign, often rather obscure, (though not
necessarily so) country. Learn a new language. Face the challenges
that come up. Perhaps just for the sake of being different.
Non-conformists? I am sure someone said, before me, that conformity
is boring.
